Nov 14, 2018

Buying a new roof or needing repairs on one may be an unfamiliar process for the average residential or commercial customer. To better familiarize our clients with the process, we have put together the most commonly asked questions.

How long will the work take?

Once we know what type of roof and the size of your home or business, we can estimate the time involved for your roof repair or replacement. For example, for the average house a shingle reroof takes 1-2 days, and for larger homes it takes anywhere from 2-4 days. We always try to meet the estimated times, although unforeseen obstacles such as bad weather which could potentially delay the repairs or replacements.

Do I need to be available while the work takes place?

No. We have dedicated project managers that will handle all the coordination with both you and our expert roofing crew. We do ask that all remaining vehicles are moved from the driveway to prevent damage from debris.

How much more does a metal roof cost over a shingle roof.

On average, a metal roof will cost at least 3 times more than a shingle reroof. While metal roofs are more costly, they last significantly longer. A shingle roof is expected to last 10-15 years compared to a metal roof that could last up to 30 years.

Who will perform the work on my roof? – Employees or Subcontractors?

We have seasoned project managers and our own private crew of expert roofers. Only under the most rare circumstances would we use outside contractors.
